Alien Miners

Duncan Forgan of the University of Edinburgh and Martin Elvis of the Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics have written a paper to be published in the International Journal of Astrobiology that states that ET’s may be detectable from earth while mining asteroids. Some methods of detection would be chemical signatures in debris fields around a star, also changes in the size of debris in those fields.

“If technological civilizations more advanced than ours exist in the galaxy … and asteroid mining is a common activity which underpins their existence, then searching for signatures of targeted asteroid mining (or TAM) is an appropriate activity for SETI to undertake,” the scientists suggest.

“We cannot expect a conclusive detection of extraterrestrial intelligence by TAM — what it can provide is a call to attention. Debris disc systems with unusual dust size distributions and locations … provide astrobiologists with candidates for further study,” the scientists write.

I find this quite interesting in regards to Sitchin’s theories on The Anunnaki being here to  mine gold in Afrika for their Planet’s (Nibiru) failing atmosphere, and that being the reason for the genetic modification of Homo Erectus into Homo Sapiens by Enki.

As far out there as Sitchin was on some of his teachings, one can’t help but ponder the question, ” As time goes by will Sitchin’s claims be proven?” I guess we can only wait and see.
