Study results in the thought of more water on the moon

Published on June 22, 2010 by   ·   No Comments

Scientists are saying that there is more water on the moon than once believed. Most likely it’s within the rocks below the surface. Recents missions have proved that there is water and ice on the moon’s surface which could have been carried there by clouds or comets. But in the latest U.S. led study, it is stated that it’s possible for water to be indigenous to the moon. Francis McCubbin of the Carnegie Institution of Washington said ”We found that the minimum water content ranged from 64 parts per billion to 5 parts per million.”
