The website of Spain’s National Police was taken down temporarily by the group Anonymous. This attack was reportedly in retaliation for the arrest of three men whom were said to be “Core” members of the group. Spanish Police will not confirm that it was Anonymous that was behind the attacks. The site was down for nearly an hour. Anonymous claimed responsibility on a website linked to them. Anonymous also stated, ”They did not arrest any core group, because we don’t have a core group.”
