Survival in popular culture

It seems the last few years has shown an increase in survival type shows being introduced into the mainstream of society through the internet and television. The Discovery Channel is the leader in the amount of Survival programming being aired on a yearly basis. Shows like Man vs Wild and Dual Survival are two examples, it appears that anyone should be able to find a program that appeals to the Survivalist hidden deep within.

This  is just a introduction to a category that will be featured on our Sister Site, SyndicateSurvival.
