Government Seizes Infant

In a shocking and terrifying story released on October 8^th, we learn that the United States government will go to any lengths to stop people from “bucking” the system so to speak. A New Hampshire couple had their newborn baby yanked from their arms and taken out of their custody, with one of the reasons being listed, their political affiliation. Wait, what? Are you serious? They lost their child because of where they stand on politics? Yes, it is true, in the affidavit filed against the couple by the state of New Hampshire, one of the reasons listed amongst other unproven claims, is the parents’ involvement with a “militia” group. It was in the opinion of the New Hampshire Division of Family Child Services and local authorities, that the father of the newborn was a member of a militia group known as the Oath Keepers. The founder of the Oath Keepers has come forward and pledged that the organization will fully support the parents and offer any legal, or financial assistance needed until justice is served and the newborn is returned to the care of its parents. It has also been confirmed that the newborn baby’s parents are not even full members of the group, but were merely on an online discussion list related to the Oath Keepers.

This fact makes this story even scarier: you do not even have to be officially part of a group to have your children taken away from you. It is basically the government sending a message of “don’t be involved with, or even associated with so and so unless you want to lose your kids.” It appears to be just another way for the government to exact control over the citizens, while at the same time squashing even more freedom, ignoring even more rights, and instilling even more fear among the people. It is a sad state indeed, when you cannot even speak your mind in disagreement with the government without facing something this horrible happening to you. America, Land of the Free? Ha! Not anymore, if it ever even was.
